All,

I try to connect to my ASA VPN head-end device from GPRS Internet connection, GSM provider allocate address from 10.0.0.0/8 and in my network I also use the 10.0.0.0/8 networks, also client get address from this private range . I can establish the VPN connection, but no traffic goes through the tunnel. The provided address from ASA was not same what I got from the provider. What can be the problem?

IP of the laptop on GPRS: 10.18.2.35/24

IP from ASA: 10.151.5.12/24

Behind ASA I have 10.0.0.0/8 but there is no 10.18.0.0/16 network

BR,

Check if the vpn pool address is on the same subnet as the public interface address. Try changing the pool address to a different subnet.

Address of the laptop is 10.18.1.150/32 and I assign 10.40.5.2/24 with remote access VPN.

Specified routes are delegated to the client, but no encrypted traffic goes throuh the tunnel, internet connection works at the same time.
