Using CallManager directory for CUPS

I have CCM 5.1(2) and CUPS 6.0(1). I when I log into CUPC 1.2.1 I only have the ability to send and receive calls. I don't see any directory.

Is there a way to use the local directory in CallManager as a directory or do I have to integrate to AD? Or do I have to have CallManager integrated to AD?
