Is there a command that you can enter after you have tftp'd an image to a switch that tells you if the image is all there in the correct order. I guess something that does an integrity test on an image.

would the path be disk0: or sup-bootflash: where the file is located.

If you want to MD5 the IOS then probably disk0. Bootflash has a specific purpose and IOS should not be stored there (you do see it sometimes though). Type 'dir' and that will show you the IOS image and where it's stored.
