I have a scenario that I think is OK but thought I should bounce some ideas.

I have a setup where an ASA 5510 needs to function as an RA VPN concentrator for Cisco remote clients. I have a Juniper firewall at the moment with a free interface and I'm thinking of connecting the ASA to the firewall as an ASA-on-a-Stick and run dot1q between them.

Does that sound right? I know that both devices support dot1q and most of the features are supported on physical and logical interfaces but my hunch is telling me that there is something wrong here.

Any ideas?
