WPA2 not seen in WLC "show running-config" Why not???

Hi,

I'm running 4.1.185.0 on a WiSM.

From a factory-default config. I had to enter a few commands to get "show wlan 1" indicating WPA2, AES and Auth Key Management=802.1x

Two unexpected thigs:

1) The 2nd WLAN I created didn't need any further configuration than "wlan create 2 ..." and it already had WPA2, AES and Auth Key Management=802.1x. The 1st WLAN config seemed to have change the WLC WLAN security defaults, right?

2) When I do "show running-config" I see no reference to WPA, and none to AES. Isn't this command output meant to be in a format where you can paste it into a factory-default WLC & get what you saved in the text file (like IOS)?

Regards, MH

In this case I would suggest you to create a wlan in a file ( copy , Paste the wlan configuration) and download it via TFTP.
