Port Security on 180x routers

1801 with 8 port LAN routers were deployed as part of managed WAN. We've asked them to turn on port security. They said it wasn't supported. Does the 180x LAN ports have same port security features (i.e. MAC address learn/lock) like standalone switches?

HWIC-D-9ESW is the 8Port EtherSwitch module you are referring to

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps5207/products_feature_guide09186a00802c6bb6.html

From the Layer2 switching link on that page:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps5207/products_feature_guide09186a00801d2d60.html#1048478

It refers to port security support, so I believe it does.

Thanks for the update. I should have been more clear. The 180x routers are fixed configuration units not modular.

8Port LAN fixed ? Hmm.. Do you have a part number on that ?

Can you try and see if it takes the port-security commands ?

The part number is the 1802. Do not have access to the router. It's part of managed WAN service and we are locked out of the command line.

I searched and couldn't find any information regarding that model and port security support.
