RSpan issues

Hi

I've set the following up to catch packets on my 3560 switch:

monitor session 1 destination interface Fa0/45

monitor session 1 source remote vlan 500

monitor session 2 source vlan 200

monitor session 2 destination remote vlan 500

Teh problem I'm having is that all the packets sourced from my other 3560 switches are coming in fine through the rspan vlan 500, however the phones plugged into this switch which has the destination here as well aren't having their data captured.

Can anyone please suggest what might be wrong and how I could fix it.

Thanks

Dan

RSPAN VLANs can also be sources in SPAN sessions. However, since the switch does not monitor spanned traffic, it does not support egress spanning of packets on any RSPAN VLAN identified as the destination of an RSPAN source session on the switch. So instead of having 2 SPAN sessions, you can go for only one session as described.

monitor session 1 destination interface Fa0/45

monitor session 1 source remote vlan 500

monitor session 1 source vlan 200
