What is the purpose of boot-start-marker and boot-end-marker and how do you apply them. I couldn't find on enable, prviledge, or global config mode. I am running 12.4(7d) on vg224.
If you configure a specific IOS for the router, then it will show up between the boot markers. See the following example.
boot-start-marker
boot system flash:c3725-advipservicesk9-mz.124-11.T3.bin
warm-reboot
boot-end-marker
