I downloaded the ES for CM6, changed the file name, FTP to the Publisher and now what? I thought it would just upgrade, or do I need be at the console to reboot the server and?
Thanks!

Within CCM5.x you install the upgrade from within the Cisco Unified OS Administration, by selecting Software Updates, install/upgrade.
Specifiy Remote filesystem and enter the path and credentials for the ftp server. If the ES is a valid sgn file CCM should list it in order for you to be able to install it.
Once the installation is complete, you should then have the option to restart the upgraded partition.
Prior to upgarding ensure that you always have a valid backup.

Allan.
Hope this helps...

Hi
I tried to install ES 6.0.1.2107-1 on a HP-DL380-G5 running UCM 6.0.1.2000-4. The "cisco-ipt-k9-patch6.0.1.2107-1.tar.gz.sgn" does not show up as an Upgrade File in the OS Administration. I tried with a local DVD and with a FTP Server.
Has anyone successfully installed the ES?
The upgrade is quite urgent since 6.0.1.2000-4 is very bugy.
Regards
Stefan
