Is there any possobility of problem if LAN side of inline group is set to 1Gb but WAN side is only 100 Mbps ?
Also I can not see LAN and WAN settings in WAE-512K9 of 4.0.13 although this is clearly shown in 4.0.7 configuration of of 511.
How would I learn what is negotiated on WAAS side ? There is no command or I can not find it.
thanks

Serhat,
The LAN and WAN ports of the inline card must be set to the same speed and duplex.
'show interface' from the CLI should display speed and duplex settings of all interfaces including those on the inline card.

Brad,
sh interface command does not show anything as below;
waasnz1#sh interface InlineGroup 1/0
Interface is in intercept operating mode.
Standard NIC mode is off.
Disable bypass mode is off.
VLAN IDs configured for inline interception: All
Watchdog timer is enabled.
Timer frequency: 1600 ms.
Autoreset frequency 500 ms.
The watchdog timer will expire in 1274 ms.
Is there any other command?

Serhat,
Beginning in 4.0.13, we no longer allow the inline ports to be configured independently. To see what speed/duplex has been negotiated, you can use the command 'sh int inlineport

Zach,
there is no inlineport interface either as below (??).
interface InlineGroup 1/0
inline vlan all
exit
interface InlineGroup 1/1
inline vlan all
exit

The inline ports are not shown in the running configuration. You can see the option by typing 'sh int ?'.

sh int ? shows these ;
waasnz1#sh interface ?
FibreChannel Display information for FibreChannel device
GigabitEthernet Display information for GigabitEthernet device
ide Display information for IDE interface
InlineGroup Select an inline group interface to configure
InlinePort Select an inline port interface to configure
PortChannel Display information for EtherChannel device
scsi Display information for SCSI device
Standby Display information for Standby interfaces
usb Display information for USB interface
but waasnz1#sh interface inlineport ?
<1-4>/ Slot number
waasnz1#sh interface inlineport
what is the slot number ? It does not accept 1/0 or 1/1 which is used for groups. Very confusing !! How can you display something that is not in the config, odd with usual Cisco standards !!

Okay I have found the status of the ports in the system file as below;
Nov 6 14:28:42 waasnz1 Sysmon: %WAAS-SYSMON-3-445010: Fault detected: InlinePort 1/1/wan
Nov 6 02:16:32 waasnz1 kernel: %WAAS-SYS-3-900000: e1000bp: eth2: e1000bp_watchdog: NIC Link is Down
Nov 6 02:16:35 waasnz1 kernel: %WAAS-SYS-3-900000: e1000bp: eth2: e1000bp_watchdog: NIC Link is Up 100 Mbps Half Duplex
Nov 6 02:16:37 waasnz1 kernel: %WAAS-SYS-3-900000: e1000bp: eth3: e1000bp_watchdog: NIC Link is Up 1000 Mbps Full Duplex
It shows that eth2 negotiated half duplex.I will set both ports to gig/full after hours.
thanks

the correct commands were ;
sh inter InlinePort 1/1/lan
and
sh inter inlineport 1/1/wan
thanks Zach.
