Hi All,

I have CCM 4.0. Recently the corporate directory search is not working for new users. When ever I search for the new user in phone it will always show the result of old user name, which have been deleted.

Why is it so? Can some body help on this.

Did you delete it from Global Address List under User option?

Firstly can you confirm whether you have integrated the directory into AD or are you simply using the CallManager local directory?

Hi,

I am using Cisco local directory.

Searching of Old users dont have any problem, but for new users, its not working and if old user phone is shifted/given to new users, then search with number gives the result of old user only and not user.

From your description, the problems suggest an issue with DCD replication. I would initially verify that the DCD service is running on all CallManagers in the cluster.

One method of establishing whether you have a sync issue is if you try to authenticate to the CCMUser page. First authenticate against the publisher, and then each subsequent subscriber. (This is obviously depending on whether you have not disabled IIS on the subscribers)

For example https://publisher_ip/ccmuser, and then https://subscriber_ip/ccmuser.

When you are unable to authenticate on specific subscriber, then verify the DCD service, and initally attempt a restart of same.

Regards

Allan.
