What is the advantage to have unique RD for each customer vrf compare to have same rd for each customer vrf.
Unique RD for each PE in the same vrf.
PE1
---
ip vrf customer_A
rd 3355:10
route-target both 3355:500
PE2
---
ip vrf customer_A
rd 3355:11
route-target both 3355:500
Same RD for all in the same vrf.
PE1
---
ip vrf customer_A
rd 3355:10
route-target both 3355:500
PE2
---
ip vrf customer_A
rd 3355:10
route-target both 3355:500

hello
having one rd is simpler;
yet with only one rd you cannot :
- apply an import-map to your vrf (update from pe1 => pe2 won't be check against route-map)
- if you have BGP RR an plan to use bgp multipath, with only one RD the RR wil only forward the best route and you won't be able to load-balance
