CCIE R&S Written

Unanswered Question

I'm just going through the CD questions from the Cisco Press Wendall Odom Book and most of the questions seem to be pretty big scenario questions that take over a minute just to read before you start working them out.

Is this an accurate representation of the actual exam? or are there lots of quick little questions in there as well.

I'm getting decent marks in the practice questions but I'm worried about time.

I have this problem too.

I am studying for the R&S written exam as well, and have run into the same issue as you. 100 questions in 120 minutes is just a little over a question a minute. Many of the practice questions take about that much time to read, and some of them you've got to draw a little something. It will definitely be a time crunch test.

I am curious if anyone knows what the passing score is for this test as well.

A quick google search revealed a few places that suggest that the passing score is 70%. I've not seen anything official to back that up though.
