Hi everyone,

I have encountered the symptom that CPU utilization on CSS 11501 is increasing periodically.

I assume that this symptom is caused by handling many traffic on CSS 11501 and I am thinking it would be better to replace CSS 11501 to CSS 11503 with Session Accelerator Module (SAM).

So my question is, if increasing CPU utilization due to many traffic to handle by CSS, is CPU utilization decreasing by using SAM ?

Or do you have any idea ? such as adding I/O module ?

Your information would be appreciated.

the traffic will be split accross all the modules.

So, if the high cpu is due to traffic, adding another module like sam will help.

However, only the scp handles management of the box, like configuration, telnet, ssh, routing, snmp, ...

so if high cpu is due to such a process, adding another module will have no impact.
