ASA 5510 problem

Hi,

Is it possible to configure an asa 5510 as an inline transparent firewall and use it also as an VPN gateway?

How does the config looks like?

I do not have an authoritative answer and if anyone does I would hope that they jump in. But I do not see how the ASA could be transparent as a firewall but be non-transparent for VPN. As a VPN end point I would think that it would have to be a visible layer 3 device.

not possible.

you can't do vpn's in transparent mode.
