Dual Hub and Spokes area design with OSPF

hi,

need suggestions/help on ospf area designs.

the head office is deployed with ospf area 0. untill now branches do site-to-site vpn to head office with static routes. no dynamic routing on edge router. now a DR site deployment has been scheduled with DMVPN with OSPF. need suggestion how design the topology/areas.

current setup is as under:

HO<->ASA<->edge_router<-wireless->branches

The static routes are then redistributed in OSPF backbone on router. The router also has subinterfaces for spokes configured under OSPF Area "x". Without the direct link between Hub1 and Hub2, Hub2 would not participate in the OSPF routing when Hub1 is also up. When Hub1 is down, Hub2 will be the OSPF DR for the DMVPN (NBMA network). When Hub1 comes back up, it will take over being the OSPF DR for the DMVPN.
