Hi,

We are using 1841 router as internet connectivity router. Simple and straight configuration one overload NAT to access internet (Serial 0/0/0 outside to ISP , and fastethernet 0/0 as inside ) and internal users use a private IP range. We need to limit internet access of users only to 2/3 websites and block all other websites, can we implement this on router ?

Any link on cisco.com ?

Thanx in advance

HI Subodh,

It's advisable to use the Proxy Server (Linux Squid Proxy, Win Proxy or others) to implement this limitation.

Neverthless, in Router will normally increase the Router CPU Load.

Pls Rate if HELPS

The best way to make it is to get the ip addresses of the sites you want to be access from inside and create ACL on inside interface to allow only this ip addresses.
