I need to forward UDP broadcasts to/from the lan subnet and the vpn clients. I've found the command ip forward-protocol, but all the documentation seems to make it look like it requires a physical interface on both sides. Is there a way to relay/forward udp broadcasts over the vpn?
Thanks!

For mutilcast and and broadcast traffic, if you are doing router to router (LAN to LAN) VPN, you can use GRE tunnel with IPSEC.

Pengke11,
Thanks for the reply... However, I need software vpn clients (IE, a laptop out and about connecting on the internet) to be able to send and receive the UDP broadcasts. Is this possible, or will I need to set up routers/pixes/asa's for each site?

I would implement a solution with L2TP to work in conjunction with IPsec. This method would allow all broadcast packets to reach your clients.
