Hi,
I'm trying to configure my router C1841 to allow the callback to isdn remote user.
The callback perfectly work with my analog remote users.
The router did not initiate callback to the remote isdn caller.

ISDN callback can be configured in two ways legacy DDR and dialer profiles. You can check your local server call back numbers and timeout, follow the link to a helpful document. Since I am not sure if you are using DDR or Dialer profiles.

Hi,
I'm using a dialer profile and I already tried to configure the dialer interface using the commands as described in the "Configure ISDN Caller ID Callback for Dialer Profiles "
section of the document you provided to me but still the same issue.
When I remove the callback from the dialer caller string, the connection can be established by the client isdn modem (whitout callback at this time)
Thanks a lot.

Here is the configuration of my ISDN dialer interface :
interface Dialer10
ip unnumbered FastEthernet0/0
ip access-group sdm_dialer10_in in
no ip redirects
no ip unreachables
no ip proxy-arp
encapsulation ppp
ip route-cache flow
dialer pool 1
dialer remote-name xxxxxx
dialer idle-timeout 600
dialer enable-timeout 2
dialer string 027429815
dialer caller 027429815 callback
dialer-group 10
peer default ip address dhcp-pool xxx-Users
compress stac software
no cdp enable
ppp callback accept
ppp authentication ms-chap ms-chap-v2 callin
end
Could you please let me know what I'm missing ?

Hi,
It says that it has encountered Err:
Dec 11 09:26:16.614: ISDN BR0/0/0 **ERROR**: host_incoming_call: DIALER ERROR 0x1: b channel 0, call id 0x48
Dec 11 09:26:16.634: ISDN BR0/0/0 Q931: RELEASE_COMP pd = 8 callref = 0x91
Cause i = 0x8095 - Call rejected
Over here we are yet not very sure why the call has been rejected.
Could you please post the outputs from:
1. Debug Dialer
2. debug ISDN q931
3. debug ppp authentication
Then we can be certain what exactly is causing the rejected calls.
HTH,
Please rate all helpful posts.
Kind Regards,
Wilson Samuel
