We have recently acquired a new 6509-E configured with two 6000W power supplies (currently one is disconnected). The power details are shown below:

Another engineer has recently said that we need to look at this as, and I quote here, "the switch seems to think it only has the standard capacity of a 6509 and not the enhanced one that it is. i.e. 3800W instead of 14700W".

Having never looked into the power configuration on a 6509-E before, I am a little bit stumped. I assume that he is referring to the Power-Capacity figure of 3780W, but I have not been able to find any documentation that details the expected figures for the 6000W or 8000W power supplies in the 6509 or 6509-E chassis.

If anyone can clarify any of this for me, or just point me towards some relevant documents, it would be much appreciated.
