Hi,

I'm studing for the BCMSN using the Cisco Press Exam Certification Guide.

Is the information of this book about Wireless LAN good enough for the exam? or should I search some detailed info about Wireless LANs?

regards....

I have this problem too.

Well, it's an exam prep guide, so it's cut down to what you need for.... the exam :D.

If you want further info, take a closer look at the self study guide, maybe even a book that dedicated to wireless or simply grab some whitepapers and "understanding xy" .pdfs from the cisco.com website.

No, it is not enough. Trust me, I failed because of it not containing all the information that you need for Wireless LAN. You need to know the client well, and there is nothing in that book on the client. The Authorized Self-Study Guide has most of the information required for the exam, but still not all. Use a Cisco wireless card and get to know it well. I hadn't used one in years as I use my internal wireless adapter. If I were you, I'd use both books as I am now.

Hope that helps.
