Cookie insert with CSM-S

Hello

I am trying to configure the CSM-s with 2.1(4) software to actively insert cookies.

When I configured the sticky group with the appropriate cookie name and time-out and I attached the group to a vserver, it looks like it is not working,

When I use "sh module csm x sticky" I can saw that there are permanent cookies attached to the real servers with the time-out set to 0.

Does anybody use the "insert cookie" option and could help me ?

Thanks for any help in advance

Regards

Lukas

The CSM inserts the cookie on behalf of the server, so that cookie sticky can be performed even when the servers

are not configured to set cookies. The cookie contains information that the CSM uses to ensure persistence to a specific real server.timeout value configured in the sticky statement does not have any relevant meaning. When you add the sticky group to the rule, the data yousee in "show mod csm X sticky" will be inserted into the database.
