1841 router with HWIC-AP-AG-A

Hello,

I have a Cisco 1841 router and a HWIC-AP-AG-A card. I have tried installing the HWIC card in the 1841 router and I get an error stating that there is an unknown daughter card in the slot. I also tried the card in a 2821 router and I still get the same message.

I have read on the cisco site that the card is compatoble for these 2 routers.

Am I doing something wrong? or do I need to do something more to get it to recognise the card?

Generally this is an IOS Version problem. Have a look at this thread;
