I setup my ASA5510 with a 3rd Party Certificate for SSL VPN's. How do I go about backing up this certificate if I have to replace the device? I already have a copy of the config. Is that enough? Thanks.

This is not possible until version 8.0. The "http authentication-certificate" setting will be required to support the "certs" group. This setting will apply to all connections on the configured interface/port.

Martin - I'm looking for a cert for a 5505. Would you share your experience with obtaining your cert? I asked GoDaddy and they said they did not have anything that would work??
Thx,
Phil

Phil,
I got my cert from www.instantssl.com, They are a lot less expensive that Verisign. When I filled out the certificate request form on their website I had to specify that the CSR came from a Netscape server. I used the following document for help; http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/471/verisign-install-asa.pdf
Good Luck,
Marty
