ASA 5520 active/standby failover

Hello

we have 2 ASA 5520 (Ver. 8.0(2)) uin active/standby failover. each asa has also an IDS module (ASA-SSM-10) in promiscuous mode.

we have an failover almost every day/night .

with "sh failover history" we get this output:

"Service card in other unit has failed"

has anyone an idea what causes the failover?

Do a 'show module' in the ASAs. See if any of them are shutdown and check your logs. We had one that was not fully seated and caused some problems.
