Unable to ping the ATM interface from Internet

Hi,

I have configured my cisco 1801 router to connect to adsl via the ATM interface. I can get connectivity to the internet, however I cannot ping my IP address assigned by the ISP. I have turned off the firewall rules but still no joy. Can anyone suggest what I need to do to enable me to ping my adsl atm interface from the internet.
