Is OLD-CISCO-INTERFACES-MIB deprecated too?

If so, what're the currently preferred OIDs for grabbing input queue drops, rather than locIfInputQueueDrops?

All of the OLD-* MIBs are deprecated. The replacement for locIfInputQueueDrops is cieIfInputQueueDrops from the CISCO-IF-EXTENSION-MIB (if your IOS supports it).

Alas, cieIfInputQueueDrops doesn't seem to be supported on the variant of IOS (12.2(4)) I'm testing against. locIfInputQueueDrops still works though.

Deprecated objects should still work. Deprecated does not mean obsoleted, so if you find a deprecated object that is failing, that should be a bug. However, that bug may not get as much attention if a current object already exists.
