7911 time zone CME

hi, we've a C2851 with CME 4.2 IOS Ver advipservicesk9-mz.124-11.XW3, & have problems with time zone, only in IPphone 7911 & IPCom. The ntp & clock time zone are correctly configured & also we tried with different ios & firmwares HELP US PLS

which FW on the phones ? Have you tried XW4 ?

Have you set timezone under telephony service?

Hi, In Mex only exist XW3 Ios Ver to C2851, we tried with: xw1, xw2 & xw3. On the phones with fW Ver 7.x CP11.7-2-1-0S.loads & Ver 8.x SCCP11.8-2-2SR2S.loads. Ther router has clock time zone right & the CME also has time zone telephony service right.

Hi,

Phones synchronise with CME to the UTC time.

CME also has a separate setting for the time-zone, so the phones can adjust their clock after synchronisation to the desired local time.

For the SCCP phones use following config setting:

Router(config)# telephony-service

Router(config-telephony)# time-zone 9

And for SIP phones use:

Router(config)# voice register global

Router(config-register-global)# timezone 9

"9" is the time-zone setting for Mexico.
