We have connected up a 2960G twice and each time segments connected on a edge switch that is turnked into the core, Most hp printers with jetdiriects stop printing, and are not able to ping. Mac addresses in the arp table show all zeroes on a win2k server. Anybody seen this before. The servers are connected at the core on a 6500
On the vlan that has the problem the servers,printers and users are on the same vlan seperate switches. You cannot ping the printers , pc's switches and servers are pingable.
The pc and printer can even be on the same switch.
