Hello Everyone:

Can someone please tell me how to connect a home lab together.

I have a Cisco Home Lab that I need to know how to connect for my CCNA Studies.

This is the equipment:

(1)2621 (2-10/100FE, 1-Wic-2T)

(1)2524 (1-FT1/T1 CSU/DSU, 1-S/Sdb60, 1-AUI /

ethernet, 1-10bT)

(1)2520 (2-S/S, 2-A/S, 1-AUI/ethernet, 1- 10bT, 1-Bri)

(1)2514 (2-AUI/ethernet, 2-S/S db60)

(1)2511 (2-A/S, 2-S/S, 1-AUI/ethernet)

(1)2950-24 Switch

(1)2924XL-24 Switch

I would greatly appreciate any input. You can email me if you like at [email protected]]]. Thanks

I have this problem too.

Okay, so you are going to need a BUNCH of things:

a) some AUI transceivers for your 2511 and 2514.

b) some back to back serial db60-db60 x-over cables

c) some db60 to smart serial back to back cables (to connect your WIC-2t to other db60 serial devices)

d) an octal cable to connect from your 2511 to the console ports of the other devices

Your 2520 will be your frame switch. The 2511 will be your terminal server.

That's a great lab to use for CCNA. I think you will find it very helpful in your studies.
