that is commonly caused by choosing the wrong xcoder type on CCM, maybe it's IOS enhanced but you configured regular xcoder.

check that, also try to take out the version command from MTP config

In 6.1(2) under CCM Admin > Media Resources > Media Termination Point > Add New > you get a drop down box with only 1 option "Media Termination Point Type Cisco IOS Enhanced Software Media Termination Point"

The version type is required in 12.4.22T, you can't add it without a version, you get a error;

I just did an upgrade from CCM 4 to CCm 6 with gateways running 12.4.15T7. I couldnt get my CFB and XCODER to register until i removed the ver staement.

In 12.4.15T7 , you should be able to configure your sccp config without the version statement.
