Hi All,

I have a old Cisco 3000 which I'm trying to get operational again, and also like to get advice on upgradeability. Any assistance would be appreciated.

It produces the following on bootup:

System Bootstrap, Version 4.6(1), SOFTWARE

Copyright (c) 1986-1992 by cisco Systems

IGS processor with 4096 Kbytes of memory

Flash: invalid chip id 0x9145 for flash

unable to configure flash for erase or write.

Refer to the 'Getting Started' Guide for additional help.

Default settings are in square brackets '[]'.

Configuring interface Ethernet0:

Is this interface in use? [yes]:

IP address for this interface:

Don't see any other details externally.

The motherboard ROMs show 9.1 3000-17131102 and 1202

I have this problem too.
