RME 4.0.3 Inventory Collection Issue

Hi All,

I have an issue when trying to pull a report for 2950, 3500 and 3550 series switches. The report comes back with "N/A" for "Chassis Model Name". Anything else on the report seems to show up just fine. I also have 3560, 3750, 4500 and 6500 series switches that do not have this problem. Any suggestions would be great, Thanks.

This is to be expected. The older switches' inventories are built using the OLD-CISCO-CHASSIS-MIB. There is no mapping for Chassis Model Name in that MIB. The newer switches support the ENTITY-MIB, and thus RME will use that to get the entPhysicalModelName which it can include in the report.
