CUCM 5.1 installation failure

This one has failed install due to "internal error". Then prompted to insert an USB key to dump diagnostic and confirmed it has done so, but left no file on the USB memory!

Eventually, I zapped the partition table with a 6.0 recovery CD.

What do I need to install 6.0 on it now, a TAC issue and need for disk images I guess ?

Hi Paolo,

Is this a clean install or a Windows upgrade with DMA? This does seem to be a pretty common occurance. If you have decided to go with CCM 6.x you will need the new installation media as you noted my friend :(

It "was" a brand new 7816 HP with 5.1 "pre-installed". Hope the TAC can be swift on this.
