On what parameters i can say that Cisco 6500 series Core Switch has advantage over HPs 8300 Series except Brand name of course :)

There is no 8300 Series switches on the HP portfolio.

The major difference is the switch fabric performance :
- HP 692 Gbps
- Cisco 720 Gbps
The HP offer 10000 routes when the cisco offers 1000000 routes.
Don't forget the New Cisco VSS technology that offers more redundancy and high performances with the sup card 720 10G.
