Hi everyone...

I'm trying to trace some specifics packets as they leave my "public" interface on my router. I've used the "capture" command on PIX/ASA IOS for this porpoise but I can not find something similar on the Cisco IOS. Does anyone knows how can I do this ?

Thank you

You can use debug, however you should use it with an ACL (like the PIX).

Glad it helped, thanks for the rating.

IP traffic export/capture can be helpful. This is quite limited depending on your hardware and IOS version e.g. software platforms only, but closest alternative to real a capture
