PIX 501 be configured to have a DMZ?

We want to install a Filezilla secure FTP server on our perimeter router's Ethernet interface. The above will have no protection other than anti-virus program. Can a PIX 501 be configured for a DMZ to secure the FTP? Would the PIX 501 able to replace the switch in the attachment?

Pix 501 has max of 2 interfaces, so you can have your server connected to the LAN segment swich and peform a STATIC NAT for outside world.
