cue install wizard fails

Unanswered Question

Does any one know if it is possible to install a CUE module (CCM license), without entering the ccm web username into the cue install wizard? The CCM is being managed by a 3rd party and they are hesitant to provide us with the ccmadmin username/password. They have created a jtapi account, which I have configured in the CUE, but when I verify the ccm/jtapi connectivity I get an error that both web and jtapi logins fail due to "error while determining ccm version -1"

I have this problem too.

You can add a license from the command line.

If you can telnet to the router you can then session into the CUE module.

service-module service-Engine 0/0 session

then hit enter

then type enable

when you are prompted for the password just hit enter and that should put you in the CUE module command line.

once you are in the CUE module you can run the following command.

software install clean url ftp://X.X.X.X/cue-vm-license_25mbx_cme_2.3.1.pkg username anonymous password anonymous

you will need to change the filename to the appropriate license and put it on an ftp server.

Reload the CUE and the new license will be on there.
