Could not create CTI Route Point and corresponding Line on CallManager

Unanswered Question

Version 4.5(2)

JTAPI Client Version:

I get the following error message while trying to create a JTAPI Trigger

“Could not create CTI Route Point and corresponding Line on CallManager”

JTAPI Client Version is in sync with UCM: 3.1(1.4)

Funny enough this worked previously on the same MCS Hardware and Software Versions. I had to use the MCS servers for testing something else and did a fresh clean install of both UCM and UCCX and now I get this error message. This is an absolutely brand new install and no fancy configuration on the UCM. Just some IP Phones auto registered.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have this problem too.

Since ur ipcc express version is 4.5 and ccm ver is 5.x.x, you have to first create the cti route points and cti ports on the callmanger , then it will automatically updated in ipcc express. This feature has been updated from the version 4.0 of ipccx.

Before ver 4.0 of ipccx we need to create the cti routepoints and cti ports in ipccx first and then in ccm

You should not be creating the RP on CallManager, this functionallity is the same as UCCX 4.0.

Make sure the DN you are creating is not already created in CM,

Make sure that you are selecting the correct entities (device pool, etc), and make sure the AXL user can access CM.

also I would suggest looking for more details in the logs.
