Hi Sunny,

Hope things are going well for you! Have you tried these commands?

Problem: CUE Clock Not Synchronizing with CME Router Configured as a NTP Server

NTP on the CUE is unable to synchronize with the CallManager Express. The CallManager Express router is configured as a NTP server. The CUE clock is not displaying accurate time. However, CallManager Express displays the correct time.

Issue these commands in order to overcome this problem:

On the CallManager Express router:

ntp master

On the CUE:

ntp server x.x.x.x

!--- Where x.x.x.x is the ip address of the CME router which is configured as a NTP server.

Once the mentioned configuration changes are made on the CUE and CallManager Express, issue the show ntp status command on the CallManager Express router. You should see that the clock is synchronized.

There are bundled archives with each release of CME, these contain firmware, ringtone, moh file and others, all of which can be downloaded from CCO.

The following document explains how to download these archives onto the router platform.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guide/cmeinstl.html

Refer to the section titled 'Installing Cisco Unified CME Software' here it describes how to upload the files onto flash, and also there is a link which take you to the CME SRST downloads page for which you will require CCO access. Located here are the latest ZIP files for each CME release.

Incidentally, once the images have been uploaded onto the flash, and you have configured the tftp paths for same in IOS, you also need to specify the load under the Telephony-Service as shown in the example below:-

tftp-server flash:apps41.1-1-3-30.sbn

tftp-server flash:cnu41.3-1-3-30.sbn

tftp-server flash:cvm41sccp.8-0-3-32.sbn

tftp-server flash:dsp41.1-1-3-30.sbn

tftp-server flash:jar41sccp.8-0-3-32.sbn

tftp-server flash:SCCP41.8-0-4SR2S.loads

tftp-server flash:term41.default.loads

tftp-server flash:RingList.xml

tftp-server flash:DistinctiveRingList.xml

tftp-server flash:Analog1.raw

tftp-server flash:Bass.raw

tftp-server flash:Chime.raw

tftp-server flash:Jamaica.raw

tftp-server flash:Pop.raw

telephony-service

load 7941 SCCP41.8-0-4SR2S

The only way to upload the firmware to the phones is using the TFTP option specified within your DHCP pool. Option 150 will have to be the IP address assigned to your voice gateway.

HTH.
