6500 Crash info Vs Exception dump

Can some one help me in configuring "exception dump" in 6500 L3 switches. This is mainly for collecting the info during any switch crash.

Pl clarify the difference between Crash info feature & Exception dump feature in 6500

Use the show log command you can see reset manually by the user or caused by a crash and also if there have been any exceptions. Exceptions are CPU dumps that occur immediately after a crash, as shown in this example: MCP Exceptions/Hang: 0

show logging buffer 1023 command displays all system messages, including possible error messages that may relate to the crash
