Hi,
I have 2 locations, each with 2 6509+ACEs installed. I need some contexts to failover to the local switch, and some to failover to the other site. However, only one peer can be configured. Is there a way around this limitation?

you can't fail over across sites and currently only 1-1 failover is supported.

Thanks Gilles.
The sites will have direct fibre connection, not routed, so that should be OK yes?

in this case i think you need side selector to load balance btween data centers

Naturally that would be ideal, but we don't have one. So ospf costing and the direct links to carry FT vlan traffic will work?

danger m,
FT ACE modules must be layer 2 adjacent on the FT VLAN.

They will be. The sites are not far apart, just different buildings on a campus. We will have fibre modules and direct links *not* going over the core. i will be trunking the ft vlans across. I am considering recommending GSS though, as with the current set up I will have to advertise the same networks from 2 different CEs.
