I want to write CIPT exam. I don't have a CCNA certificate. Can I write the exam & get the score-sheet? ( I know CCNA certificate is a must for CCVP, but I am not plannning to write all 5 papers now. A friend in Cisco told me it's possible, but he is not 100% sure.).

Hi, my understanding from what you're saying is that you wish to take the CIPT exam but are worried that you won't be able to because you don't hold a current valid CCNA.

My answer is this shouldn't be an issue as I did this when I was studying for my CCVP. I took most of the CCVP track exams (CIPT, CVOICE etc) and then retook my CCNA towards the end.

Thanks a lot!!! It certainly boosts my morale..

I have never written CCNA. ( it's not an issue of an expired certificate here). ( I guess the problem you had was your certificate had crossed the 3 year time limit.)

Think even that shouldn't be an issue.
