New network using 2821 router and ASA 5520

i need to setup a fresh network using the following devices:ASA 5520 and 2821 router.The ASA 5520 sits in front of the router cos i need to do some voice on my LAN,permitting everyone(data AND Voice traffic) to the Internet but resticting some traffic from the internet for security issues,please advice whatshould i do,what are the important things to note/config on the ASA and the router,your advice will be deeply appreciated thanks.

You can use ACLs to control network access in both routed and transparent firewall modes. In transparent mode, you can use both extended ACLs (for Layer 3 traffic) and EtherType ACLs (for Layer 2 traffic). For voice and video to traverse IP networks in a secure, reliable, and toll-quality manner, QoS must be enabled at all points of the network.
