I am writing an intergrated IPCC desktop to an application using the Cisco UCCX CTI protocol specification. This is working well. However Ideally I want my desktop app to appear and be controlable in Cisco Supervisor Desktop as a Agent Desktop.

Reversing the agent desktop with wireshark it appears the client notifies actions to the supervisors via the chat server on port 59000. This is using the GIOP protocol. I am looking for a spec for the chat server protocol. Has anyone any ideas ?

Change the registry setting to allow the Chat sessions to use more than just port 59000.

Modify each agent's registry entries as follows: -Create the registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Spanlink\FastCall Chat Server API\Setup

In that key, create a DWORD value called: OmniOrbUsePort

-Set that value to: 0

Restart the agent and supervisor desktops
