I am having an issue with DND on IP Communicator (maybe others). Turning off DND doesn't immediately clear the DND indicator on the screen, it takes about 45 seconds. This is very confusing for end users. The DND button on the 7960 phones works great.
I'm using IP Communicator 2.1.2.0 and tried IP Communicator 2.1.1.0 on IOS 12.4(11)XJ4 on a 2821 ISR
I noticed a similar post back in February.

Hi,
I didn't know there is such a DND button on the 7960 phones. Are you referring the Do Not Disturb button ? Do you have any document on how to configure a DND button in CCM ? I am running CCM 4.1.3 sr5d
