2950 switch

Is there a way to back out of a telnet session in a 2950? I telneted to a console port of a 2950. From there I telneted to a firewall console via an ip and socket, successfully. The telnet session is now hung up to the FW login and I need to release the session in the 2950 without dispatching, Any suggestions?

You can try ^ x (control, shift+6, x) this should take you back to the original IOS device you telnet'd from. I am not sure if the PIX will interpret the keys though - I haven't got one handy to try it.

I was once hung up in a session and was told to use the disconnect session command and it worked but I wasn't telnetted into a FW just a few switches.

switchint#disconnect session
