Hi,
I have four 4700 routers and all of them are 2FE + T1 config. Does 4700 support 3 FE? I remove the WAN card and install 3rd FE card ?

Recalling from distant times memory, yes. However do not expect the interface to perform at line rate.
A small L3 switch like the 3560 8-ports woul be better for the job.

Hi,
Can I apply the "rate limit" to control the bandwidth of 3rd interface FE?

You can probably use traffic shaping instead.
The 4700 runs old IOS and certain features are not available.
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

Hi, any example for traffic shaping? we will have 10M bandwidth. 2.5M is for data. Other is for voice. If the data traffic is over 200K (e.g. 2.7M), it will drop.

Hi, configure an ACL that defines you data traffic, under interface configure "shape" command with the wanted traffic amount and ACL.

Hi,
we check the interface of router, it has " rate-limit" command. it doesn't have shape command. Does it mean that the "rate limit" to be work?
