The APs (Cisco 1242) in my total LWAPP environment send out regular WLCCP broadcast and unicast frames. What purpose do these serve in an LWAPP environment? If there is no purpose and the frames are only for mixed legacy autonomous environments, is there a way to turn them off?

LWAPP is for Lightweight AP Solution

WLCCP is for Standalone AP Solution

The Cisco AP (Exclude 1000 series) only can choose in Lightweight OR Standalone.

1. Do you upgrade your wireless lan from Standalone to Lightweight Solution? if, yes

Please confirm all for your AP had upgrade.

We have been an LWAPP installation from the beginning. No APs were ever converted from being autonomous. That's why I can't understand why WLCCP frames are being broadcast and unicast.
