CSC-SSM filtering proxy traffic

Hello folks,

Does anyone have some experience with running ASA with CSC-SSM module behind a http proxy?

I intend using it for virus scanning and URL filtering. However, the clients in my network use a http proxy server so from the point of view of the CSC the http traffic will be sourced by the proxy server. Will the CSC be able to properly display notification pages to clients? Any issues this deployment might cause?

Dear MZIK,

We are using CSC SSM with ISA 2000 we ara not facing any issues its working fine.

while you can use it directly you dont need any proxy server CSC can provide you detail filtering and url blocking.

you can use with AD you can use AD group to define exception.

CSC can show you the proper blocking message or you can define your own.its good device.
